If someone disses the NFC WEST you tell them this.....:

Tell them too root for a team from the NFC WEST if its that easy to make the playoffs then.....if not go root for the Packers or Patriots......

I don't know where you heard this realignment talk. No one is calling for realignment because the NFC West is bad. That wouldn't make sense. This isn't college football where the same teams are good every year. The Lions just went from being one of the worst franchises over a fifteen year period ever to a playoff contender. This happens all the time. And the NFC West is awful. There is no way around it. Yes we have won a few playoff games, but we haven't had a Super Bowl Champion since the Rams in 2000. Before that it was us in the 94-95 season.
The NFC West as a whole is bad, but that does not make the Niners bad this year, considering we only have 2 of our 9 wins within the division, and we only lost to one of the best teams in football by 10 points on the road on a short week.

Look, the NFC West has always been talked down to like this. Yes, I remember all the talk in the late 80's and 90's on how weak our division was. They used to say we didn't deserve the post season because we played tomato cans all year, but i think that would make you complacent and weak. A pushover in the playoffs who hasn't played anyone right? No, that theory didn't work. See, when we shocked the NFL world and introduced the WCO, remember what they famously called us? The team of "finesse". That was the only way to downplay what they didn't understand ignoring the fact we had a Hard Hitting Defense.

So, ok, let's realign since this division is so horrid and it makes better geographical sense. Is it really our fault that the division is weak again? Should we re-realign and get the Aints - excuse me - Saints and Falcons back to please the Haters? Dare I say East Coast bias?

Or, what I've heard this year (completely ridiculous and moronic) about how our record is the way it is ONLY because we play in the pitiful NFC West, yet we've only played 2 games in the division.

So if I understand what I hear, we don't this year, and never have before deserved the record(s) we end up with because of the "gimme" games, yet NOBODY in the other divisions will give back their wins when they played the NFCW, right? The AFCW is pretty weak right behind the NFCW but is anyone crying about GB having easy games? Even though the undefeated SB Champs got to play the RAMS? Shocking GB was still undefeated after that one, huh? Should the NFCE & AFCN reconsider their records because of who they played? Ya...All's quiet on the Eastern front

So next time they cry and then DARE call US whiners, go retro, put some Cazal's on and put a limp in your step cause if they're hating, we must be doing something right

lol ask the Saints if the NFC West are a push over when they met the hawks in the playoffs last year.
