People please relax, the sky is NOT falling! I watched Thursdays again and I would encourage you all to do the same. You will then realize that we will be fine and that we are a REALLY good football team. Its obvious we will have to make a few adjustments but the biggest adjustments will be when Miller and Snyder come back. Moran Norris and Chilo Rachel were absolutely the weakest links in that game and by far the biggests contibutors to that loss. If you watch you will see how important cohesiveness is to a Oline. There is a good amount of blame to go to the coaches too. The lack of Screens, TE curls, Draws, swing passes was astonishing. These are the things that slow down pass rushes and we didn't employ them hardly at all. The good thing is this happened now, against a non-divisional opponent. I have much faith that the coaching staff will make the necessary corrections coupled with Miller and Snyder coming back. If I do have a major concern that has not been corrected it is the 3rd down conversion rate. Our saving grace has been the fact that our defense holds opponents to around 30% but we are converting at about the same clip. We cannot win in the playoffs with that. Finally, the Ravens are the BEST defense we will face this season so I feel good about our chances againt any defense in the NFC.

Great post! I think Moran Norris should not see the field again this season. He makes our offense way to predictive and slow. This also allows the defense to pin its ears back and attack our o-line with no respect of Norris beating or tricking them.

I have missed most of it, I figure at 9-2 the naysayers would get laughed off of the board. webzoners need to realize that most of the people that post here are anti-fans.

the o line just got dominated. Zone blitzing confused the entire offense. defense was too passive. and Chilo was in the game. Just gotta bounce back next week.

I don't think this is an omen of things to come. The Ravens have always played tough at home. I don't feel bad for the 49ers at all. Look what the Ravens did to the Steelers during the first week of the season. They completely embarrassed them. At least we kept the game close for 3+ quarters. If not for a few bad calls/poor execution, then the score would've been different.
I think Jim Harbaugh & Company will thoroughly review the film from the game and make the necessary adjustments. Besides, the team now has 10 days to recover and regroup, which will be vital heading into the end of the season, and then the playoffs. As so many have mentioned in this forum, it was better for the 49ers to have lost now, than for them to cruise into the playoffs a go one-and-done. At 9-2, the 49ers have the second best record in the NFC, so don't fret my friends. The 49ers didn't get to 9-2 by mere coincidence.

what i don't understand is why some people are so threated by other sky are falling fans...if you aren't stressed out about it then you can ignore the other fans....the problem is that deep down inside you are stressed out and worrying about it also and the ones that actually verbalize it make you have to confront your own girly fear hahahah

A very silly conclusion here. Some just recognize that we are 9-2... had only a couple of days to prepare for the Ravens... and injuries/penalties really hurt our chances of beating a good home team. Minor disappointment, but one to shake off... not whine endlessly and create a fictional panic over.

Yes, we are a good team, we are not yet a great team, this is what we learned.

Yeah, you are correct, absolutely. It's amazing that 2 people can mean that much to an offense. But it's evident! This is absolute. Their will be no collapse at all.
