Alex isnt the type of QB to make a lot of risky throws hense holding onto the ball and taking sacks.

Would rather have that with our style of team than a guy like Cam Newton who is boom or bust.
Did you even read? People were either covered or he was on his back, other then a couple plays Alex really made the best of his situation tonight...

Really? Would you mind sharing the coach's film with us? I'm pissed that CBS/NFL Network only follows the ball, making it impossible to tell who is and who isn't open.

Remember when f*gio came to the Niners this year stating that he wasn't even going to watch the coach's film because it was impossible for him to tell what a defender should or shouldn't be doing? I wonder if that applies to the offense as well? Thankfully, we have posters such as you, that aren't limited by mere mortal senses. I can't speak for everyone, but thank you for sharing your gift of clairvoyance with all of us.

nv--thanks for the analysis! Perhaps this thread can get back on track and discuss the plays and how our team can improve.

It is difficult for a QB to overcome receivers being covered and the oline breaking down. I don't care what percentage is who's fault. I do care what is different about this game than past games:

1) less time to prepare
2) fifth game in the east (midwest was really east)
3) injuries that matter--Miller, Edwards, Snyder, Morgan...any I'm forgetting?
4) lack of preparation to deal with most complicated blitz packages in NFL
5) first year in the offense--still not fully fluid
6) major calls went against them

There are many more but let's put it down as an abnormal game and see what they can do the rest of the season with a week to prepare for most games.

All good. It's clear I hurt his feelings. And of course he responded in typical low life fashion with racists remarks. I'm sure the black DBs he coaches (or so he says) would appreciate to know what he really thinks of "their kind." Hey Willis, maybe next year you can send your uncle over to his house to watch the game....

Right. The words you used are an obvious reference to ebonics, which comes from the african-american culture. I'm not saying it's a proper way to speak, but it is what it is. And you still are what you are. I hope your players read this and see your true colors.

Even Joe Montana would have done little against the constant pressure seen tonight. When Adam Snyder got hurt, I was man we are in trouble. Joe Staley has been inconsistent, I expect more from the veteran. Braylon Edwards has not played well enough to keep starting.

Alex Smith was doin his best, he is not the blame for this loss it is the poor play by the Offensive line.

I totally agree--this game was lost by the O line--there were no coverage sacks---they were on Alex almost a split second after the snap. The coaches should come up with some way to counter--but as other posters have said--other teams don't have the same pass rush the Ravens do---and we will get Synder back, Miller back, and be better prepared in the future.
