No they haven't been able to win the SB, but they put football people in the football positions and let them make the decisions.
When they first took over and we got the Erickson/Nolan s**t show years it was looking pretty bleak, but then they learned and spent the money to get Harbaugh and they were almost at the top.
Then they trusted the wrong guy in Baalke and it was a messa for a while. Then finally learned from it and went all in on ShanaLynch.
It sucks they haven't won the big one but there is no doubt they are in good hands now.

yeah dr york when i hear all the criticism of the yorks' being cheap or aloof or ruining the team that all goes back to dr york and they tore the team down, traded TO for nothing and cut the QB1 for no one, that was the 2003-2010 dark ages, jed hired both harbaugh and shanahan, he stays out of the process, he got a new yard built he would rank pretty high on the list of owners, imagine having admiral bowl cut like they do in vegas team loses 13 games a season year is over in october

you cant just make stuff up using the word "probably" with no evidence at all.

Just another guy with enough money to overpay for something he wanted. Owners used to be football people. Now they're investors that are on an ego trip that want to make even more money when they sell the team. In the meantime they get the fun of seeing their name in the paper or hearing it on TV. Who ever heard of Vinod Khosla before this?

Blaming the Yorks for the TO trade is simply wrong. He was traded, originally for, iirc, a 2nd. He then threw a tantrum and the union got involved and the Niners got stiffed. Look it up. When you talk about trading QB1, a name might help. Rattay? He was traded for a 6th which was about right. Or Dorsey? He was traded for Dilfer and wasn't QB1.

fair enough in my view, blame is opinionated, it's also factual record, that on his watch they traded TO for jack squat more or less, that's reality is it not, regardless of what you or my opinion of it is, but i parse it out there is no 'yorks' there is Dr York who did awful running the team, and Jed York who i like.

i mentioned QB1 cut for nothing, i am referring to jeff garcia he was a mutli time pro bowler QB, he set the niners franchise yards record (single season) and we cut him for no replacement. we had i think going into 2004, three guys all 7th rounders. that was probably the leanest year in team history

Um no. TO was traded for a 2nd. Then Owens himself intervened and the NFL stiffed us. It is not a question of opinion. The team got stiffed. Garcia wouldn't take a pay cut and the team needed to clear cap space. Not to mention the injury issues from the previous year.

Really? Care to explain?

He's fine. But I hope Bezos doesn't buy the Seahawks.

I'm sorry but why would we be worried about Bezos being an NFL owner?

I mean, they were gonna let TO walk in free agency, and the only reason they had his rights to trade him is because his agent screwed up and didn't file the proper paperwork. Which is why he was able to file a grievance with the league and get a ruling in his favor nixing the Ravens trade. That forced SFs hand to trade him to the Eagles since TO chose the team. Not sure what the comp pic formula would have given SF if TO left as a free agent at the time (if anything), but TO was gone either way.

TO should have never been traded.

It's like the franchise learned nothing from the 1999/2000 "salary cap hell" purge and then did it all over again in between 2003/04. That really was like an expansion team.
