Jed has actually kept us relevant, if/when we win the super bowl Jed will be moving into Eddie D territory.

Eddie D kept us relevant for 2.5 decades while winning 5 SB trophies.

I think Jed is doing a good job.

It's a great time to be a Niner Fan!

49ers have a history of being ahead of the game when it comes to taking max advantage of cap management.

As team owners go, we have a good one. Jed is still young and has learned from his past mistakes.

I appreciate his patience and awareness that he has a great group running football operations.

It's his job to help them do their jobs and then GTFO of their way so they can do it. Whatever criticism he may have is kept between them.

He's fine. But I hope Bezos doesn't buy the Seahawks.
I appreciate that Jed opened the pocketbook for the UDFA market this season after getting lambasted for sitting out the 2025 UDFA period.

Obviously, it's early, but we might have discovered a gem or two. If there's anything to work with the coaching staff will need to coach'em up.
I have been pleasantly surprised with Jedi, seems as if he listens to his uncle by hiring good coach/GM, take care of the players, let the coaches and talent evaluators do their job.... however, I do think he was influential with the Trey Lance disaster and persuaded Shannalynch to make the pick

If Eddie D was our owner, everyone in the building would be nervous at all times. Shanahan would have 2 trophies to his name but he would look like Bill Walsh right now (Grey Hair and all).

We would be so afraid to lose, and there would have been examples if we did lose. One thing for sure, everyone wouldn't still be here after losing in those big games.

I'm sorry but why would we be worried about Bezos being an NFL owner?

I've got no issue with this, as manu knows my username back then of AB83Rules was based off of Battle as I am a huge Notre Dame fan and loved him there plus it was just a 6th rd pick

It looks like a minority investor in 49ers gave up his stake to go all in on Seattle. Probably views one franchise as a winner, the other not. Paid a premium for succedsful coach successful draft favorable non california business climate. Who can argue.

Ownership of any NFL team > 3-4% minority stake in any NFL team. It's like printing money. I'd sell 5% of a team that's won 10 straight Super Bowls to own a team that hasn't won a playoff game in 50 years because you'd make more money being the primary owner of that trash franchise.

Facts
The thing I appreciated about the Yorks, and Jed specifically is they actually realized their mistakes and corrected them.

No they haven't been able to win the SB, but they put football people in the football positions and let them make the decisions.
When they first took over and we got the Erickson/Nolan s**t show years it was looking pretty bleak, but then they learned and spent the money to get Harbaugh and they were almost at the top.
Then they trusted the wrong guy in Baalke and it was a messa for a while. Then finally learned from it and went all in on ShanaLynch.
It sucks they haven't won the big one but there is no doubt they are in good hands now.
