How many passing attempts is Alex averaging per game?
Interesting how they determined the rankings. @ "the O-line is improving from godawful to mediocre"

26.5. The league median is 35. To finish the season at 35att/game, we would have to average 41 attempts per game over the remainder of the season -- that's what the Saints average.

That's my description of their statistical improvement at FO.com.
I think its all coming together now. The Browns game wasn't very pretty but it gave some new wrinkles that opposing DCs will have to gameplan against. Now we can really start utilizing Davis, Walker, Edwards, and Crabtree.

I'm hoping the 11-15 connection can figure it out, because there are big plays to be had. And those big plays would equate to much more statistically appealing performances. It'll start this week vs. a Redskins team with poor pass defense and mediocre/good rush defense.
Nice job, Nick, and thanks for info stats.
To throw in defense: we are ranked #3, 4th against pass and 1 against run.

Our opponents defensive rank have been:
Team TD-PD-RD
Seattle 13 22 3
Dallas 8 10 10
Cincy 7 13 6
Philly 18 8 30
Tamp 25 28 7
Det 4 3 14
Clev 14 17 9

When the computer pukes out garbage it's a sure sign that your methodology is crap. Does anyone really think our passing offense exceeds our rushing offense?

Bluntly, would our pass game be what it is in the absence of our rushing game?

This is how you get yourself into housing bubbles and BCS championship games.

The increased rushing efficiency and decrease in sacks over the past four games has been a GREAT sign for the offensive line. They are going to have to be really, really good against Baltimore in a couple weeks.

Guys... It's PROBABLY because the first few games, our rushing attack was pretty anemic. I'll have to take a look at how they figure out the statistics to see if they're reasonable though.

Vegas may have something to do with it too.
