name a talent evaluator who hits on 100% on his moves? go back and look at the roster he inherited when hired and look at the players he drafted that are a big part of this 5-1 team, then look at the FA's we acquired when he was here. i said the day nolan was fired that he had to go but i appreciated him upping the talent on this team.

I hated Nolan as a HC just as much as anyone else, but I wish people would give credit where it's due.

ya and bill walsh called rick mirer the next joe montana, bottom line is nolan brought quite a bit of talent to this team that we're now winning with, u wanna pigeon hole him for the alex smith pick go ahead, but when your cheering for the team on sundays, every other play made during a game is by a guy who nolan drafted of signed

We are giving Nolan too much credit as talent evaluator/GM here. He brought in McCloughan just for that.

i'm pointing out that even one of the best talent evaluators was way off here and there, so it stands to reason that a guy like nolan would be off on a move or two aswell, but on the whole he brought quite a bit of talent to this team. if u wanna make this about alex smith, go ahead, that was his first pick, he sure hit some home runs after that though, no worries though i wont let facts get in the way of your agenda, later.

So you are thinking Cowboy has never been on a chopper ride. That's a risky move. He might blow chunks during the ride half way to San Francisco.
