Media and the 49ers

The problem with the Cohn's is they more often than not have covered dumpster fire organizations. Their negativity and willingness to call out ownership / gm's / coaches is well received and rewarded when teams are truly a dumpster fire as fans love an outlet to lash out their frustation. It's lazy and tiresome that they maintain that stance when the team is doing well and making right decisions. 49ers fans have been kicked in the nuts enough, don't frabricate problems that aren't there.

The other problem is they know nothing about football. Never played, coached, nothing at any level. I bet most users on the webzone have more football background than both Cohn's combined. It's idiotic of them to critique the offensive prowess of literally one of the best 3 people on the planet at scheming offense.

At least Garcon was somewhat productive before the neck injury.

His biggest player crush the past 5 years was Joe Williams. Said he would take him in the first round and that he will be a bonafide star. He has no grounds to critique anyone.

I'm guilty of clicking on his articles and regretting it every single time. His latest is more bashing of Kyle. Not sure how this guy looks himself in the mirror. I played and love football and had aspirations of coaching before joining the military and taking that path. I don't know where he comes up with these ideas that somehow he knows more about offense and football than Kyle or even me. If he knew a third of what he claims to know he'd be more than a tabloid beat writer. I'm not going to lie I'd really like to punch him in the face. Thanks for letting me rant...

Lol, let it out man.

I think Grant publishes one decent piece for every 50 he puts out. He has made some good points occasionally, but it's like a blind squirrel finding a nut.

This is exactly it, he figured out a while ago that saying dumb s**t loudly gets more clicks than honest reporting. Heel heat makes money.
