We all loved to jump on the Bengals during their time of criminal behavior. Now it looks like the worm has turned. I believe Jed and Harbaugh need to have a closed door meeting with the team and set down some rules.

not sure what they would say in a meeting. aldon has done most of the bad boy stuff and you can not babyset them 24/7. you know the old saying.... you can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be led. and there is zero comparison to how the media calls our team out as compared to any other team in the nfl,, in my opinion

You can say a lot. Most times you don't have to do much more than just a refocus. Point out that, as professional athletes, they are in the media spotlight all the time. Whatever they do is going to be seen and reported and will reflect on themselves and the team. Basic stuff but for athletes who have led rather sheltered lives, they often times need to be reminded, or maybe even hear something like this for the first time.

Aldon is not the only one. He has done the most egregious stuff but all the other DUIs are not acceptable. The league has made a big deal about domestic violence, as it should, but if someone is killed or injured by a drunk driver they should also reap the hurricane.

I've noticed only certain sites are carrying the Rapapport story and not surprisingly all the typical 49er hate sites like CBSsportsline and Cohens press democrat and of course nfl network. Nothing from Maiocco or Barrows on the lost locker room.

Once one of the M's reports it, I'll listen. Until then it's a bunch of coat tailing off somone like Florio or La Conforia who are never in the know.

barrorws sorta tweeted about it today

said vets were upset weeks ago, but everything was "kumbaya" this week
I worked in journalism for 10 years, and one thing you were always taught early on....you are NOT part of the story. These clowns now think they are the celebrities...thanks, Sports Talk Live...thanks Koz.
The media is keeping this story alive

the "report" stated apparently some or one of the players were not happy about traveling to Baltimore to practice.

Loved Justin Smith's reply to that yesterday post game

What did he say?
kawakami and killon are now bashing ted robinson for speaking his opinion on knbr..... but theyre too afraid to use his name.....
Nothing like an opening day win to hush the haters and media alike. Now they have to think of something else to bring the club down. Just like the Cowboy said " the world we live in "

if you do not think there was a media bias all you had to do is listen to aikman "the niners hung in there" and jimmy johnson "not impressed with the 49ers" aikman was really bad,,, did you guys notice every time buck would try to give a opening to aikman to say something nice about the niners , aikman was silent. then he had his romoexcuses running around all over the place... god i can not believe i am thinking buck was decent yesterday,, but compared to aikman,, good god.. nice love from herm edwards on espn saying we have a championship pedigree!

Robinson has been taking generic shots at the Chronicle coverage on McDonald even though he's really talking about Killion.
