Whenever gameday comes, do you guys feel like people only consider our Offense and their opinions on Alex Smith more than they do our defense? After all, if you watch our games closely enough, it's our defense that keeps us in it and I honestly think our defense is gonna pressure (sack or not) Stafford, get hands up and deflect the ball.
Since Alex has been discussed so much among Niner and football fans in general, I feel attention has been taken away from our defense and how relevant they are to how well we perform. Hope we have a big game and don't let those long bomb plays for Megatron develop, get in the pocket and rattle their QB up a little bit.
Our offense may or may not jump out to a fast start, depending on how well our OL contains their ridiculous DL. So if this happens, our defense is gonna have to step up and stop any Lions momentum from developing.
GO NINERS!

I don't think professional football teams who are scouting us will ever overlook our D.

Awesome defense for 2 weeks in a row Bucs and Lions. Fangio and staff did a helluva job. No turnovers for the defense today, but you can count that safety as one.

Our D is lights out in the Red Zone. That's the #1 reason we won today.
