True that's why other guys work better in college. They can't handle the workload and non stop work. Time will tell.

He's wound tight, but it's hard to burn out doing something you love to do with every fiber of your being.

this is probably why he likes to run up the score.

that's his deal.

BUT what I really liked the other day was his discussion of it taking 8 weeks to get bigger/louder speakers to simulate crowd noise. I love the fact that he got fed up with the adminstration taking 8 weeks to get speakers so he just got them himself from his buddy at Stanford.

When he was asked about why it took 8 weeks, he said something like "I don't want to get into it, it will just bring back my frustration."

You have got to love that about him, if someone around him didn't get the job done, he got it done himself AND let the admin/front office know he wasn't pleased that a simple thing like that took 8 weeks!!

This is a 9 billion dollar business and this is a coach who gets paid 5 million a year. If he asks for speakers the size of a dump truck you get them for him asap. Sounds like whoever is responsible for this should be fired. If he or she worked for me it would not have taken 8 weeks it would have taken only 1 week because after the first week that individual would be searching for a new job . Unreal

As long as we keep winning its all good.
For 5 mil a yr he can hire a nanny/housekeeper to help out at home so his wife isn't a single Mom. It comes with the territory. Just ask Mrs Lombardi or Mrs Tuna.

I think he'll be fine. This workload isn't new to him. I revert an interview he did with his brother and John said "I remember one morning at around 7 he called me because he just woke up in his driveway and couldn't remember if he was getting home from work or leaving for work". This was while he was a scout for the raiders. 18 hour days weren't uncommon at all for him. His stress was evident earlier in the season but I think you can tell he's relaxing more.

plain and simple hes awesome!! hes they type of leader you would follow to hell with gasoline soaked drawers.
I always tell people that the difference between Harbaugh and Sing is that Harbaugh adds strategic coaching to his intensity. Sing wanted to beat teams on sheer heart and will, but in the NFL, those things are often matched. It takes coaching, adjustments, studying trends, knowledge of all phases of the game, etc on top of heart, emotion, and will to get wins on Sundays. Harbaugh has done that on all levels and he is starting to do that with us now.

Sing did help with changing the minds of our guys. Before he took over, the team was a mess. Both mentally and competitively. But when he threw Vernon out and preached playing hard and with heart. I will give him that. But Harbaugh is changing the culture. He has been the total package. He adds Xs and Os to the "rah, rah, rah!!" Hope "Mooning Mike" is taking notes.
