you guys can say its crazy to talk about 14-2 or 15-1. Seriously though, with the way these 9ers are playing there isnt a game we cant win. Thats what has me excited.
We can't just look ahead at the remaining schedule and mark down automatic losses, like we have for the last 8 yrs. Yes the Steelers and Raven will be TOUGH games, but its not impossible. Redskins, Giants, even Seattle and Arizona are not gimmies either.
This team has something good going. I don't remember the last time I felt like the 49ers had a REAL chance to win each game they played. This team has that.
Sure we may not run the table the rest of the year, but I feel like this team has the talent and ability to pull out a W against ANY team in the NFL right now. What's even better is, as great as they've played there is still room for improvement. I'm excited for the rest of the season to play out, and watch them grow and improve.

Well if the Ravens-Jaguars game is anything to go by, then yes, we'll go at least 14-2

I say we'll go 13-3. That would be the best record we've had in years. I'm not going to count my seachickens before they hatch but 15-1 and 14-2 would be awesome.

as things stand today, going 7-3 from here on out is worst-case scenario.
a lot can change, but barring injuries or collapses or stunning turnarounds, with our schedule and the way we were playing anything less than a 7-3 run from here on out would be disappointing, IMO.

I'd say it'd be a disappointment to go 7-3 or worse.
ONE BIG thing I haven't seen mentioned much in this thread is that our last game (or two) might be meaningless....
If the Packers go 14-0 and we're 12-2 we could scrap our last two games and be 12-4, but our "real record" would be 12-2.... AND keep Andrew Luck out of the NFC West:)

If we stay healthy at key positions, we will be fighting with GB for home field throughout the playoffs. No one in the AFC really scares me either. Just gotta root for GB to lose a couple of games, at least one more than us.

I'm usually over-optimistic about anything Niner, but this year, It looks like I'm not crazy!

Really, our highest hopes that were taken seriously were that we'd stay in the hunt and had a chance, a CHANCE, to go 9-7 and win the West. That's the past. We'll win the west..... (I had us going 11-5, that'd be a disappointment now.)
So, now we're doing something in the zone that has never really been a reality, talking about playoff positioning, and I feel like from this point, it's more realistic to think we'll get a buy than to think we'd get into the playoffs 7 weeks ago! WOW!
So I'm really focusing on the packers losing, If we get a bye and win a playoff game (Saints?) I'd really like to stay in the Bay and not go to Lambo. Come on LIONS!!! Don't lose again Niners, and if the Lions beat the packers we're HOME FREE!

Side Note: Rogers: I live in Chico, CA, where Rodgers is from, and this town has turned into California's Green Bay, it's disgusting; people walk around with #12 green shirts and call him "Aaron" as if they've all got a personal relationship with him... gross. If the packers come to SF, they're be a lot of Green Bay fans, no doubt.
A friend of mine was a lineman who played with Rogers at Cal and said he was one of the most arrogant guys out there. I've heard that from other people and I think that's part of what makes him good actually. But lately he's been playing LIKE a demigod, and he THINKS he is one. Hubris is always rewarded with tragedy, lets hope it's sooner rather than later.

I never liked Rodgers anyway, so that doesn't surprise me. Helluva QB though, would just like to push my fist through the back of his skull every time I see him do that super gay WWE b******t, I guess he is one of those booger eaters that like that fake and ghey s**t.

Sorry that is some fake & ghey s**t, not hating, just stating a fact. Helluva QB, but a goofy wrasslin nerd nonetheless.
