The Packers won't even go 14-2. I'm feeling REAL good that the NFC West is ours and we'll be in the playoffs this year, but 14-2 is really pushing it. Like the enthusiasm though, better than seeing 'We're going 0-16' posts.

The 49ers going 14-2 is unlikely but Its nice to see how positive 49er forums are right now. Before the season threads titled 2-14? were more likely than one with the title 14-2?.

Why even start this thread
If anyone has been positive about this team over the years, it's me. Saying that, this early into the season is dumb though.

I actually agree with this post. I don't know if it will happen but I look at the talent on our roster and with the way we are playing, i don't see why any game can't be very winnable. After the eagles game, no team was all that worrisome for me. As long as the offense doesn't turn the ball over and generates 21 points or so, I think the D is that good to keep us in the game. There is still many talented teams that we have to play and the players have to execute but we have talent on this team that people don't realize because it's been hidden by bad coaching. The Ravens went deep into the playoffs in John Harbs first year. Same type of team in my eyes. Here's to hoping that this season blows away all of our expectations!!! Go Niners...

Piehole smack.
. I will say this though. After careful review we will beat the lions. Why? Our dbs are playing together and the scheme is placing pressure on the qb. Since detroit likes to pass that works in our favor. Right now defense backfield and linebacker cohesion along with special teams are playing well.. 4 man pass rushing detroit will have issues. Rollouts, back screens, and possession receiving to the tight ends in the middle of the field behind the weak link of the lions. Their linebackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Other than lack of ball security we win this game With smashmouth in your face football. Low scoring.
Now forget the 14-2 record norstradamus

that loss was important to us man, i think it motivated them to finish games. especially to the cowboys, thats a huge motivator for the rest of the season.

One game at a time, for me.
( but I do think we win 9+ )

I've been saying that for the last week. But of course I'm just a homer, so...

Thus, on the 30 year anniversary of our first Super Bowl, destiny dictates we go 13-3, face the franchise that has owned us for 20 years, the packers, in the NFC Championship game where Alex connects with a healthy Josh Morgan for the Catch III, and then we go on to beat AFC North member, the ravens, where Harbaugh not only proves that he is the better sibling, but restores Camelot, and starts the 49ers dynasty anew.
I like the way you think!!

DUDE! The Pack will be undefeated this year and repeat as SB champs. And THAT is the truth.
