Just noticed a stat we lead that I believe is pretty important.

I was looking at some of the stats for teams on Yahoo and noticed that we lead the NFL in passes defensed. Now while we are giving up a lot of passing yards, we still are able to cause such an issue knocking them down. That leads me to believe that the long pass plays we are giving up are either blown assignments or just really good plays from the other team. That being, I expect us to improve on that and along with our stingy run D I think our Defense as a whole will be top tier by the end of the season.

Sorry I didn't see that post. I searched for Passes Defensed and it came up empty.

it also shows that our defense is on the field alot...which could rack up yards, stat wise. We still need to do a much better job sustaining drives on offense. Right now, IMO our defense is still playing better than our offense.
