I've been waiting 6 years for a damn pump fake ! ( i think that was his first)
Agree just told my girlfriend that this is the first time in his career I have ever seen Alex Smith do a pump fake in a game!!
I really hope this continues because this will make not only Alex better, but also this entire offense better!
forget the pump fake, that pass was on the money. That pass literally fell into crabtree's lap.

That was a nice pumpfake. lol.. but seriously, the deep safety froze momentarily when alex pumped(see coach's tape on nfl replay, not sure the safety is in the picture in the fox game tape), opening a window for Crabtree where Alex could drop the ball in once crabtree got beyond Nhamdi. It really was a beautiful sequence from Alex.
Harbaugh was really excited about this play and used it as a big teaching moment. He really does understand players and the need to improvise when things break down which they usually do. Hunter is the real deal. You can check it out at:

Yup it was a double move to Crabs. Namdi was supposed to be covering him bit on the pump. Safety was too slow to cover and bam a big play.
Yup, i hit rewind like 10 times and re-watched, Lookin like Smith is playing to his potential finally. IMO he is gonna get alot better.
