I don't agree wit that. The team may have sucked over the years but even though sum wont admit it this team HAS competed wit sum of the best & hung but had breakdown. Wheather it was physical, mental or coachin. In the past the team would have found a way 2 loose but they didn't. Not guaranteeing a deep run buut better coachin, the team gelling, momentum, confidents, can be a mu****a for this team when january get here if they keep the course they're on. Who in the nfc they can't beat if they stay the course. If the niners get lucky AGAIN I said LUCKY to go to the bowl, the same question can be asked about an afc team. The playoffs is 3 games, 2 if we're lucky. Then its the big game. not guaranteeing AGAIN not GUARANTEEING anything & its tooo early but I'm a believer & have (niners)faith(ful). Go! Niners!! P.s examples are vikes, colts, last years saints etc.

I really think we will. Our division is pathetic. And we already have an insurmountable lead based on how bad the division is. 7 - 9 to 8 - 8 can probably honestly win. We are already 3 - 1 after 4 games. Can we win 4 - 5 games the rest of the season? I think we can. I think we could be 9 - 7 or so and win the division.

According to Football Outsiders we have an 89.1% chance of making the playoffs, 2nd only to Green Bay at 92.8%

lol, not being a hater, I was just trying to make a point that I just can't believe it willl finally come true. Jus the thought of Alex Smith playing in the playoffs to me, is almost unbelievable, considering he might be THE most controversial player in 49ers history.

Not sure yet. Jed hasn't tweeted he's seen us in the playoffs this year yet. Sorry guys, maybe next year
