Discipline and Defense is the key to this game.

Nice call on discipline being a major key to this game. What I saw from the Bucs on Monday night was a lot of undisciplined football.

Power rankings are to puff up website visits and ratings, they have no functional purpose.

Tell you what, you let Tampa Bay win on Sunday, then win all the rest of your games, and I'll predict that you will be ranked #1 not in the power rankings but in the playoff seedings... something real with real benefits.

I'd take the trade in a heartbeat, we can take our chances on whatever seed we get, if we get in at all. You guys have no business not winning your division so for you its just seeding, the Bucs have to take out the Saints to have any hope of winning our division.

I respect the fact that you are not in here talking sh*t...I also agree with you that power rankings are useless, the focus is on winning the division and representing the west with dignity. I'm sure that is the goal of the players and the coaching staff of this 49ers team

Yeah, I'm not sure where JC is getting that from too.

I saw a s**tload of easy money in the middle of the field that the Colts gave them. Christ, I have never seen anything like that...play after play of lobbing the ball over the LOS. The won't catch that break from us...we aren't the wounded Colts in the middle.

Personally, I think the teams match up extremely well. I would put my money on the TO ratio as the best pregame indicator of this game. Niner's are playing some real smart, mistake free, opportunistic ball.

Niners +8

Bucs+1

And we do not do little things right? Comon dude.we are what, like +7 on turnover differential.

Do u even watch the games? U are a negative poster joecool and I understand its only 1/4 way of the season but you can't say we are doing the little things right.
We are not 3-1 for no reason.

The espn blogger who follows the Buc's division wonder's if they are for real:

"That formula works against struggling teams like the Colts. But here's the thing to keep in mind: Although the nation got to see the Bucs on Monday night, we still really don't know what they're all about. We're going to find out very soon. The Bucs travel to San Francisco on Sunday to play a 49ers team that's started better than a lot of people expected..."

"A win is a win,'' center Jeff Faine said. "As long as we keep stacking them up, we're headed in a positive direction.'' Faine is absolutely right. But the wins aren't going to be so easy to stack up in the coming weeks unless the Bucs take more steps in a positive direction. The wins aren't going to come unless the Bucs do a lot of cleaning up quickly."

If I remember correctly they have 2 wins from 0-4 teams......they are beatable and the game is winnable
Mr. Blount (who shunned our offer because we had Coffee and whom retired weeks later)

Meet, Messrs. Willis and Bowman

And The Smith Brothers (Justin and Aldon -- Each First name has 5 letters, both when to Missouri)

And a revamped Goldson (10 tackles and a vicious hit in the last game). Plus, Donte should be back.

And, if you want to run up the gut, the ICEBERG will be right there

[Madieu Williams is eerily like Mark Roman ]

They were all over Blount's jock on MNF. WELCOME TO THE STREAK, BIATCH

I would love to be the team that breaks that early streak.

Yep
Don't get ahead of yourselves, take it one game at a time. The Bucs are going to a tough team to beat. Can we do it? Possibly. Will we do it? We will find out on Sunday
