@ 15:07 Smith also has Walker open. he just has to hit him as he's coming out of his break..

I know I'm nit-picking, but what I really wanted to see was all the sacks Smith took and to see if he in fact had people open or not. 2 times he got sacked he definitely had receivers to hit.

But it's weird... While watching that video and those plays unfold again you feel exactly the same emotion as you did when watching the game.

I agree with you honestly on the general topic of him not waiting for guys to get open or looking around enough, but Walker and Gore were probably not his first reads on those plays. Both those guys ran short flat patterns so I doubt those would be his first or second or even third reads.

Both plays had weak protection from the OL and both times it came from the side that Gore/Walker ran to.

Oh trust me I understand they weren't his first reads. The Walker one was more obvious. Gore was at Alex's backside and Alex decided to run the opposite way from the pressure. We probably should try and avoid turning this into an Alex thread tho
