This thread originally started as an offensive drives thread. A way for us to analyze and evaluate the offense without letting the typical emotions get in the way that usually come up as you watch the game live. I started doing the defensive drives as a secondary thing because someone requested it, but it's still first and foremost about the offense to me. That's why I don't just break it up into quarters. It's not just a way to enjoy the game but to learn from it and see how our offense is growing.

Happy to see all these fans watching "the tape" and responding. Ppl finally are doing their research and posting more intelligently. We owe it to you...and thanks for the defense too; a lot of us analyze the defense as much as we do the offense, if not more.

Going to start editing it right now.

Okay so a couple things.

I was converting the first half last night as I slept and a Windows update popped up, restarted the computer automatically and I lost all progress. I then went to redo it this morning and my trial period ran out. So I uh.... "bought" the program on Demonoid.

It's a little messed up though. It lags a little bit, when I pause the video it goes forward a second so that could take a second off of some plays if I don't pay attention. Also the curser doesn't move to the front of the next clip when I delete the clip before it. This means I have to drag it all the way to wherever I need it. Very small thing but it just means it takes longer. Because of all of these issues I started to edit the videos a different way. Let me know if it's better or worse. If it's worse, i'll just go back to the way I was doing it before and tough it out, but it will take longer. I don't think there will be any difference though.

The good parts: Doing it this new way means it only takes me about half an hour to edit a half. and that's with a lot of defense. The other good thing? On this "bought" process, the conversion process is going MUCH faster. Basically going from 4 hours to showing only half an hour to go. This almost made me cry tears of happiness. This means that if I download the game the night it happens, it'll take me about 6 or 7 hours to convert it into editing form and then roughly 2-3 hours total to edit, convert and upload. This means that, in theory, I should have the offensive videos up on Monday instead of Tuesday/Wednesday. Weeeee!
