This suggests that are recent records of 7-9, 8-8, and 6-10 are inflated by a bad division. We are farther off from being a legitimate playoff team than people think. If the Niners were in any other division in the NFL, we would be a 4-win football team.
So true, all of our wins are against soft NFC west teams. If we were in the NFC east we would probably be a 2 win team.
Same thing the critics said about the 49ers in the 80's and 90's...........
Yah but we actually won games outside the division and road games. Those critics were just haters back then.
