He is asking a newborn child to sprint. Harbaugh has called it just it should be called. Lok at the earlier years of New England: they were not the high powered offense they are today. It takes time. What we should be doing is geting the run game to work effectively. If our run game was working, we would be 2-0.
Absolutely.

Hopefully Braylon is alright because if he goes down, its going to be even worse running the ball.

To his coloumn, I say this: we can't. It's like asking a someone with no legs to run a marathon. Great teams have great coaches because great coaches had good quartetbacks. Period.

People fail to realize that this is an entirely new team. I think more than half of our starters the first 2 weeks on defense were new. And obviously, we have a new offensive system. How the f**k can you expect the WCO to be running smoothly after a month and a half of preparation?
It takes time, guys. I'm just about as pissed as the next guy about losing a game we should've won yesterday, but I am optimistic about this offense. We all SAW what this offense can do when it is opened up. Smith can hit the receivers with accuracy in this offense. But it will definitely take time. This run game is absolute s**t right now, but what can you expect when the line is transitioning from a power run scheme to a zone blocking scheme?
I really don't understand the overreaction on this board and from other 49er fans I have talked to. We all talked about low expectations coming into the season and how this offense wouldn't become what we all envisioned it to be until after the bye....

yeah....be patient people. We easily could have gotten blown out by the cowboys but we kept it close the whole game. Something I didn't expect.

We have played stone age football for a long time now. It would be good to open it up now.
