I think character issues are usually blown out of proportion by the media (see: T.O.)

Team Obliterator is a bad example, he really is a head case with clear abandonment issues, hence his desperate need to be the center of attention.

That may have been true earlier in his career, but late in his career he has definitely and extremely noticeably settled down. Even still, the media was absolutely harassing the guy just to get a story out of him but he's done pretty well not to bite. The media loves to do this -- look at Favre; he has no intentions of playing again and the media jumps to create a storm of hoopla at any chance they can with him.

If there's a guy who has a desperate need to be the center of attention, it's Ochocinco. I don't hate Chad either -- he can be funny -- but I do think he makes some dumb decisions.

Chads indescretions come on the field when he celebrates which I find funny as they do not affect the niners-although if the niners got penalized by someone like that wouldn't be happy. T.O.'s problem is not off the field either-but how he relates to the team-he needed to be like John Taylor-STFU and just do what you gotta do-no need to stir waves.

I am not expecting the players to be choir boys, just have some common sense and not be stupid is as stupid does.BTW majority of the ballers that can play don't act like crazy a$$ b*****
Yes! People keep thinking he is a level 5 warrior when clearly he is a level 20 dungeon master with a potion of infinite darkness!

noobs!

f**k yeah that got me pumped!! Thanks Pete.

Lawrence Taylor was no choir boy and I'd take him on our team any day! (I just wouldn't let him sign an autograph for my 14 year old girl...)

I miss the days when an insane man was considered an asset to the team.

I miss the days when an insane man was considered an asset to the team, there are tons of examples of historically great players who lived off of the fear they imposed with their attitude

Haley, anyone?
As long as he produces, I couldn't care less about a guy's character. I'm not asking him to date my daughter, I'm asking him to help this team win football games....so long as he does that, he could do or be whatever he wants.

Thank you
When hes sober he has character.
Who cares? He's a he'll of an athlete. He likes to drink and he tends to make poor decisions when he's drunk. At the end of the day, we want guys that perform on Sunday. Braylon does.

Happens to the best of us. Braylon's ok in my book.
I think Braylon has just finally grown up, It seems to me that he finally realizes his way to be a star is to try and perform on the field and not through goofy antics. I can remember it like yesterday when he said Cleveland couldnt handle him because of his New York essence!! How funny was that, what does that even mean coming from a guy who spent his life in Michigan. It really looks like he wants to get the most out of his talent these days.

Yeah i think we all have made poor decisions when were drunk. So as long as hes not selling dope or raping or killing then do whatever make you happy 6 days out of the week. Just don't let it effect you game play. Thats what they are getting paid for anyway. Definitely not a roll model for my daughters.
I'm a long time Mich fan so im happy he's here. Lets just hope he can get it together. It could be the start of something nice.

Yeah, because all this times Crabtree was in trouble with the law....

Thank you. All this Crabtree hate is getting annoying. He is labeled a diva and worst than a guy who has broken the law multiple times with zero evidence to support these claims. Its a shame to hate a guy based only on conjecture.
