1) Bowman - Thought for sure we'd have a few more growing pains with TKO leaving, but this guy has been sharp so far this year.
2) Brooks - I thought Smith was taken to replace Manny. Turns out Brooks took that job and ran with it.
3) Boone - Really happy for this dude. Goes from a character issue UDFA to challenging a 1st rounder for a position.
4) Miller - Thought it would take more time for this guy to get the hang of offense. Fullback who can catch = weapon.
5) Edwards - I've gotten excited over some FA WRs before (Bryant, Jackson, Bruce), and usually been disappointed. The guys I mentioned were talent upgrades, but Edwards looks like he's going to be an actual difference maker.
Honorable mention: Dobbs - Saw him play while he was here at UGA. Never really struck me as NFL guy, certainly not as a 3-4 lineman, but he's been really solid the first couple of games. Hope he at least makes the P-Squad, maybe even the 6th lineman.
This is a good list.
Bowman so far looks like we haven't missed a beat. 3rd rounder.
Brooks I believe was a late rounder or undrafted fa. I see him as an upgrade over Manny as well. Better pass rusher.
Everyone loves the Boone story. nuf said.
Always loved the Miller pick/conversion. I can see fans getting upset over trying to convert a 2nd or 3rd rounder but come on...looks like this experiment is working out

-7th rounder
Edwards looks like everything Crabtree was supposed to be by now. Whats up with that?

How bout RJF? 7th rounder and now our 1st team all purpose D-lineman.
I'll add Colin Kap too. So far, he looks poised, makes guys miss in the pocket, and he's mobile. I don't know if he's going to take Smith's spot this year but I can definitely envision him doing some touchdown drives. Nice to see someone make huge chunks of yardage as a QB. Makes me remember the good old days of Steve Young
