Ending the season playing the Cards, Rams, and Seahawks in four out of the last 5 games? If we play .500 football over the next 6 games, we may be in contention for a bye. Beating Detroit at their house will go a LONG way in establishing that. I would've called between 7-9 wins at the start of the season.
Im just living in the moment fellas! Loving it!

- srsly tho...All of these teams have holes.
Aldon Smith will see the field a lot vs Detroit and will terrorize Stafford. Spencer, Rogers and Goldson will shutdown Megatron. P52 and N53 will hit Best so hard he wont remember his name.
Ravens will be the toughest game. John knows Jim, but Jim knows John too. Their defense is older. I think we wear them down.
We play Steelers at home. We will get to BigBen, forcing him into mistakes. I also think we can wear this D down.
Cardinals, Seahawks and Rams will be so far out of contention that they wont even show up to play.

Obviously, i'm saying this as a fan, as long as the team continues to stay hungry and pursue perfection, there is no team that we cant beat. I've got a lot of confidence in this coaching staff putting our players in a position to be successful.

Why would we lose to the Giants at home?

Or Seattle? Or for that matter, Pittsburgh, or Detroit?
@ Seattle is going to be a tough game. They are not imposing on paper, but that Seahawks team is getting better each week it seems, and they play good defense. They are our biggest concern in the division and shouldn't be taken lightly. If they make a run (not sure what their schedule looks like), that game could be significant.

going to wait and see how Charlie plays, not expecting much

true. how long is Tavaris out for? do we know yet? Either way, what the Seahawks do well hasn't so far had much to do with the QB position. I don't know if they have the players to really make a run, but winning in their house is hard, and their comeback over the Giants shouldn't be overlooked.

Not trying to be a worrywort or anything, just looking ahead that seems like a game, on its own, that could be tough for us. If we keep doing what we're doing it won't matter what Seattle does.
one game at a time dudes

We could be hypothetically locked for the playoffs regardless of the game, Jim may only play the starters 1 half then let the backups have fun.

Unless you become unstuck in time, then it's a piece of cake.
