Criteria #1 - Solid teams to provide the best competition.
Criteria #2 - Proximity
I like this years schedule as far as playing good teams, so keep this years schedule, drop Cokeland and add Denver or Dallas.
New Orleans, Houston, San Diego, Dallas would make a good pre-season.

So, who should we play in the preseason?

those dumb ass cholos ruined it for everyone. it sucks to see that happen to anyone. our fans were the ones jumping that one raider fan it looks like from that video. disgraceful. id like to see the cowboys in here or maybe the bengals since we made a living winning superbowls off of them and we'll always get to play against a top draft pick lol

They generally play @Oakland and San Diego(at home) or Oakland(at home) and @San Diego. And then one AFC team and one NFC team.
So they always play 3 AFC teams and 1 NFC team.
If you want to keep it that way, I would replace Oakland with Denver if that is possible. I wouldn't want to play Dallas because there is a better chance we'll see them in the regular season and why not just avoid that as much as possible.

A team that can't have many fans at the game...Buffalo would be good.

Teams that will present a reasonable challenge to allow coaches to better evaluate players. Obviously not division foes or teams we would otherwise play in the league season.
Playing a team just because they are on the West Coast though not very competitive makes no sense. I don't want to see us lock into any one team although I do think kicking the Cowboys butts in PS would be fun to do.
