This is no great loss IMO. It's a shame we have to be treated like children but it is deserved.

One thing I envy about the Seahawks is their fans at the games.

I wish we had that atmosphere.

not sure how it is the Raider parking lots, but it's very very rare to see two 9er fans go at it. unless it's a Raider/9er game

The only Bay Area fans that know how to get loud are the San Jose Sharks fans -- as I believe HP Pavilion was voted by visiting teams players as the toughest place to play in the entire league because of the crowd.

SF Giants fans do get loud, but it's not quite the same kind of atmosphere as a hockey or football game.

Like you guys mentioned this could end the sharing of a stadium thing. That's ok, I don't think pro teams should share stadiums anyways. As for the series, it could make it even more intense when we play them every 4 years. One of the main attractions to Oakland and SD every pre-season is that they are close. Who wants to fly cross country for a pre-season game. Maybe Denver/KC can be a regular since AZ and Seattle are in the division and no other teams are that close. Houston, Denver/KC and SD if they cut it to 3 games. Then again they could just start mixing it up more.

Ray Ratto wrote an interesting article on this violence. I agree with him that there should be no sides. Just check out the anger regularly expressed on this site. We have to stop thinking about "sides" when it comes to violence.
