do i really need to explain to you why det wont be better then gb?[/quote]

I have no interest in your opinion on that. But bear in mind, it is only your opinion. Until the games are played, anything could happen.

On the street, you come out with a comment like "do you want me to show you how to tie your shoes?" and you are going to get a slap. You take a discussion someone makes about football and you make a comment designed to bring about an emotional response.

If you want to talk about football, talk about football. Don't try to piss the other guy off because you hold different opinions to him. During the offseason it is just an opinion. Are GB bound to finish ahead of Det? No. Check out the number of times fancied teams have slumped or unfancied ones have slipped through.

Now I am out of here so you can whinge about pretend mods or whatever comment makes you feel good. Actually I was only trying to help but there you go.

Bye!!!

There has been one huge glaring problem with this team and I'm very optimistic after hearing what frank has said about it. The biggest problem with this team was they have all never been on the same page as a whole. We have never been able to just plug in guys off the bench or dig deeper into our depth chart without the next guy missing a beat. This what the good teams are able to do and I believe that our current coaching staff can make this team one of those teams. Once this young team gets it down, it will become clearer as to what the teams needs will be and much easier to figure out what pieces are needed to get them where they want to be. Who knows, we might already have them. We shall see, I can't wait to see some real football again!

Oh yeah and we can't forget the Falcon's game.

There's another 2 right there that were 'in the bag' both playoff teams no less.

Those two games showed us the ineptude of the team, or the coaching, We have lost to many games in that fashion the simple ineptude to stop crucial downs or to make the right move has been a common theme in the recent years.

gore wasnt the only one who thought smith "grew up" after that game. much of the fans and media shared the same opinion.
I'm sure Frank isn't the only member of the offense that feels a burst of enthusiasm after putting up with the boring, predictable and stale offense from last season, suddenly being part of a talented offense and having a creative playcaller to attack the defense has probably rejuvanated others on the team also

One would think it would have to be better without SingleBrainCell and NoWin. I've never seen more clueless offensive guys in my life. Harbaugh is a true offense guy. I'm sure his schemes are much better and suit the personnel better.

Like to hear that positive outlook! Just having receivers that the defense has to account for, combined with the actual possibility of throwing on first down, in the first half of a game, should give Frank room to run. Add the WCO tendency to get the RB the ball in space, and it's no wonder that Frank is jacked.
OK, I was trying to ignore some posts but some of your responses are priceless! Good humored and to the point! Thanks for making my morning coffee time so enjoyable! Wodwo--are you available to do standup?

And yes i myself would like to know how detroit is going to be better than the Super Bowl champs.

I like it, too!

Easy answer! By winning more games.

The tendency on fan forums is to focus only on "their" team, hence, when other teams suddenly pop up with a very good team they are surprised. I don't claim to be an expert but I read a lot of national media and Detroit is the one team that continues to be mentioned as a team that will catch a lot of people by surprise. So while no one is claiming they will upset the Packers, at least as long as Aaron Rodgers is healthy, they will still be a very good team.

I don't read many articles, I just follow football. I also see the Lions as a "sleeper" team.

Hopefully this happens sooner than later (them being on the same page). I'm sure there will be some kinks in the road but as long as they are progressing each time they hit the field (practice/gameday). We will all see the difference when it happens, I just hope we don't have to wait too long. Let's go 9ers!

Agree. I am so tired of watching other teams have the next guy step in and not have a problem, but when we had somebody go out we had unbelievable problems all the time. I'm so happy to have Harbaugh and his coaches
Doesn't gore say this every year?

It's really sad how people think it's on the players, when the major problems were due to inept coaching. Look at how well the Pats did today, yeah I know it's preseason but you can tell that's a well coached team. Brady and most of their number 1's didn't even play and they were able to light up their opponent. Here's to hoping that we can get to that level again.
