It would be actually. I think Morgan and Bogan would form a fairly strong deep threat tandem. Probably swap bogan and ginn if that was actually the DC.

If we keep 6 WRs, and Ginn leaves, I think Bogan could make this team, depending on who else is in camp.

Colston is 29 and has had issues with his knees, no thanks. Older and is going to be over-priced.

He won't make it ahead of Kyle Williams. If the 49ers sign a WR and draft another, there's no way he makes the team.

We hardly ever use 4 WRs much less 5. I would make Ginn a return specialist/emergency 5th WR if he comes back. With that I like Bogan but we really don't have time to wait. If we were a 3 win team I would say let's see what we got. However, if we go out and sign a FA, bring Morgan back and draft a WR no way there is room with Crabtree. Might not be room for Kyle Williams either.

How do you know? He was basically brought in for the sole purpose of competing for the #5 spot and KW barely stayed on the roster as the 5th receiver. Bogan went down early in camp and looked like a better prospect if you just look at their times in college.

KW obviously has in-game concentration issues and if Bogan can prove to be an even slight upgrade in the return game he would easily beat out Williams. Bogan is bigger then KW and just as quick, why wouldn't you think he would beat KW out? He's had the same time in the system as KW now, only difference is not playing in a single game.
