He has been getting extra one on one time with the coaches, he might have been tired when the picture was snapped. Don't get bent outta shape bro, they are just teasing you. Most people on here are good natured and I don't think anyone here is trying to provoke you. You fit in just fine, you can actually add to a conversation, and I don't think that is lost on anyone here.

Exactly.

I think some new peeps to the zone get really offended by people ribbing them. Its just the way of the zone. You have to have a thick skin in here.

Some peeps take it too far, but most of the time its just everyone having some fun.

The bottomline, the Yorks are delusional. Let me tell you the number teams other than Niners interested in Alex Bust Smith.

I rest my case.

In order to rest a case, you must first present a case. What you have posted here is a bitter rant filled wth supposition, vitrol and more than a little personal opinion. A case should be based on fact, not on subjective speculation. You have clearly gone beyond ration and reason with your vitrolic diatribe. What you have tried to present as a case has devolved into a childish rant that has failed miserably to add anything worthwhile to this discussion. I cannot deign to speak for all our fellow faithful brothers and sisters, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would in the future try to bring something more substantial to the table. As to date every single one of your postings have been the same inane, inaccurate drivel whose only purpose could possibly be self gratification.

It's a good going away letter. The dude has been banned.

for player bashing? i thought that was the point of these boards? if we all thought the same things then we wouldnt need a disscussion board.

hey, its none of my business...

Player bashing is cool and all as long as it add to the merit of the discussions. If your only response is " _________ sucks! He's a bum!" etc., that can be construed as spamming. With the new rules in place, we will weigh in the quality of the post.

  • 3. Above all, we value quality over quantity. We do not allow spam and instead rather you put your efforts into quality posts.

If you check his previous posts, most, if not all, were mainly AS bashing. Would have been cool if he could have articulated his position but he never wavered on the bashing part nor did he add anything we have not heard before. He has been warned in the past but he still continued.

thanks bro, i got your back. but im cool, good looking out though

Fun at someone else's expense, so not EVERYONE is having some fun. I hope you don't teach your kids this "fun" way of doing things (if you have some).

If VD were drafted by the Patriots, Packers, Colts, Chargers, or some team like that with a real QB, I'm thinking VD would have been a phenom from the get go, a perrenial pro-bowler and the indisputed top TE in the league in passing, blocking, speed, and the ability to create separation. Unfortunately, all of that has been hidden due to "captain checkdown". VD's put up good figures in spite of endless checkdowns to Gore, endless roll rights and throw out of bounds, and endless time spent blocking instead of running the field.

Jerry Rice wouldn't have had the same career if his QB was Alex Smith, let's be honest. He probably wouldn't even be making probowls, and certainly wouldn't be breaking any records.

I think VD could have had HOF worthy results by now (which he would have to continue for another 5 - 7 years before he could be a serious candidate), but that has been completely derailed because he has had one of the worst QBs in the league throwing to him his entire career.

I know you all want to blame it on coaching and other factors, but thruth be known, if Alex had played like a #1 from the get go, nothing else would have mattered. Everything else is a red herring and an excuse.

bash me now....

You'd jump at the chance to blame Alex for ruining your career if it ever happens, God forgid.

.....unless Alex ran for president and vowed to cut ALL entitlement programs and bring the top tax bracket down to 10% and the corporate tax rate down to 0%.

yeah, but i mean come on, its 2011, the the new zone is trying to curb down on nonsense threads.

Thats like someone making a thread and saying that it was our players that made Nolan and Sing bad, instead of the other way around, know what i mean.

And now we're talking about how he may have ruined Vd's career. Especially and many of us may hate to give him credit for it, but it was Sing that got him in shape, and after that if im not mistaken, the following season he almost broke the TE record for Td's in a season. Even to the point when he started i think last season saying the 11-85 combo is gonna make noise. Now i laughed when the season started, because the playcalling, rarely used the combo after that season. so im glad there is at least a sister thread, and saying in a way, like it or not, he's helped Davis become one of the best TE's in the league.

i hear what you are saying. but what if its just some 13 yr old kid who just doesnt know any better? now he gets kicked off of a place that he could actually learn and educate himself to become a more knowledgeable fan. you cant just automatically assume that everyone is capable of breaking down film or knowing the ins and outs of the game. all they know is what the see on espn, and thats alex smith is horrible, blah, blah, blah. it doesnt surprise me that some on this board post like that. they dont know any better.

idk, like i said before. its none of my business, just my lousy 2 cents.
