Washington and Baltimore are the two tough away games after the bye. The rest of the tough games are home. I would expect the 9ers to win the majority of these and make the playoffs. So, does this game matter? For team reputation in the eastern media--yes. But as things go--playing away, domed stadium noise, good team, some bad breaks--are all reasons the team could do poorly. If they do well, and particularly if Smith plays well, the media will adopt them like long lost children.

I want them to win by 20 points or more to silence the critics for a week.
