If we lose tomorrow, nothing really changes. We will still have the detractors etc, and yet we will still have the optimistic energy with a pretty good record. So losing basically means that things will pretty much stay the same.

But if we win...

If we win, even the pessimists will be transformed. If we win this game, it will transform everything about this team and this fan base. It will be a BIG deal, if we win this game.

Winning would almost be scarier than losing. Coach Harbaugh has had us flying under the radar for the first quarter of the season...not too hard to do. Still, if we win this game, we seriously become a top eight or so candidate for the SB. Crazy, huh? That's a lot of pressure for an over-achieving / under-talented roster. I'd almost prefer we lost a heart-breaker, let the lads stew on it over the bye, then come out and win 6 or 7 of our remaining ten to finish the season. Winning would be nice, though...

Getting blown out is what I perfer. Heart breakers eat at you too much.
