Niners have been great, the Lions have been a bit better. theyre at home. they have Calvin Johnson against a spotty secondary.
I agree that we get little respect, but in this situation I dont see how you can blame anybody for picking the Lions. If you guys were fans of any other team youd probably pick the Lions too. when 2 good teams play and its close, go with the home team.
Harbaugh prefers people pick against us anyways.

When the season started, there were many posts stating that if the 9ers were 3-3 at the bye that would be a good sign for the future.

You are right about Lawson and Clements, but that only speaks to the talent level we have on this team. We can let those guys go and we actually upgrade at both positions. Its great to finally see our cast offs having success like yesteryears.
YPG being the chosen stat for the #1 rated defense really makes sense if you think about it. How can you rank a defense on points alone? Yds are a much more consistent measure of a defenses performance throughout the game/season. If you are consistently holding your opponents yardage down then you are playing consistent good defense. Coaches game plan to stop plays/yds, not points.

Yeah, after watching nothing but SportsCenter all night the only to look foward to is the NFL Match Up Show at 12:30 am PST. Normally, they show it before the live ESPN comes on at 6:00 am.
