I still say we win, but it'll be another close one, coming down to an Akers FG.

With alex smith getting yards vs the "dream team secondary" he should be able to torch everyone.

Dude, we beat Cinci at home, they have the best defense in the NFL. They come back and beat the Bills who were 3-0 at the time. That was a huge win, misrepresented for terrible offense when Cinci has an elite defense. The next week, we comeback on the Eagles, who I see beating the Bills on sunday. Cmon man.
Between the Seahawks, Cowboys, Bengals, Eagles, and the Bills, Lions, Falcons, Colts, the second group has to be considered stronger. They also have a combined record of 9-7 as opposed to 6-10. If I have to say it: 6-10 is a losing record. The Bucs have faced stronger competition to achieve the same record. The perception is the Bucs are good and we're not. Listen to Silver on Yahoos Locks of the Week. It really pissed me off. We're two point favorites and he picked the Bucs as his lock to win. And if that wasn't bad enough it was what he said that riled me. He talked about about both teams being 3-1 but only the Bucs actually being a good team. That's why I am dying for the Niners to win this weekend. I want to see that sort of perception change. We've won ugly, but if we keep winning we get harder to ignore.
I'll say it again, GO NINERS!!!

I don't think we have beaten anyone either, but I don't think the bucs are better than us.

With Sopoaga out for the game, will we see more of the:
A. Brooks - J.Smith - R.McDonald - A.Smith front?
RJF has been adequate (if not impressive) in limited work (in the preseason), but against Blount, I'm not sure he will hold up well.

i feel fairly positive about RJF stepping in, but I would love to see that lineup on a few occasions.

If we have that as the front 4, I am guessing the linebackers will be Bowman-Willis-Grant.
Although I doubt we play the 4-3 sunday.

I'm hoping we surprise them with a bit of the 4-3 I thought it was awesome when I read fangio believes we could possibly run it.

I'm glad people are still picking against us. Let's keep proving everyone wrong.

I agree. That's my point. Why would anyone be so sure they are? We're up two points on the spread. I think we match up well. I don't think Freeman has been all that. A lot hinges on RJF but if the run D holds I think we win. Four and one sounds pretty good. Then we get to slug it out with a team everyone likes right now in the Lions.

We will stop him I bet you the Bucs won't even really try to run it on us because they know they can't.
