I think it's more about his contract then league suspension.

Just like what happened last year with Westbrook (no playing time), Incentive based contract

I really hope the 9ers are not playing that crap again just to save some cash and not letting Edwards play and reach those incentives.

I already posted it above yours. Baalke is finding out either tonight or tomorrow if Edwards is suspended for his DUI or not. The roster layout is setup the way it is to be ready for the outcome no matter what it is. It's labeled as Morgan starting on one side and either Ginn OR Edwards starting on the other, depending on the suspension.

the reps part i think doesn't play much into this..

It's what Maiocco and a few others were saying on Twitter. It makes sense really. It's basically saying what you did but in a nicer way.

I think a victory like this is more likely. Some people on here are getting carried away IMO. I know Seattle isn't great but we aren't spectacular either. Our o-line still has issues. We don't know which Alex we'll get (although I guess that depends on the o-line), and for the last 5 years, we make scrub QBs look like future HOFers.

I'm usually pretty optimistic but last year we all went in drinking the kool-aid then choked on it by half time. I really hope I'm wrong and you're all right and we blow them out but if history is any indication..it's just not likely. Yes, I know we f**ked them up last season in the end. That's why I'm not saying we'll lose...but we are still really inconsistent and I don't see that changing for at least 3-5 games.

Let's just hope we get the dynamic and consistent 49ers instead of the "play to not lose by a lot-implode on ourselves-let everyone hit our QB" 49ers.
