So are you always so quick to pass judgment's after 2 preseason games, you must have believed the Niners where going to the superbowl after last years preseason. But in all seriousness
1. The Niners do look like something to get excited about, the line played crisp, there is more creativity in the plays. I felt like I saw more shifts and motions in the first two preseason games then there was all of last season. Braylon Edwards looked great and we are still missing Crabs. This team if we can get descent QB play like we did last night we can do some good things especially in this division.

2. Niners tried to get Hasslebeck, but did not want to give up a s**t ton to get Kolb a man with three starts, can you blame them for keeping Alex. Alex knows the players and is on a 1yr deal for a reasonable amount, he was better than what was on the market besides Hasslebeck.

3. CK is a damn rook what do you want him to do throw for 300+, all rookies think and process slow. THe man came from the pistol offense and is now running one of the most complicated offenses in the NFL. Give the kid time it's been two preseason games. Drew Brees did not look like Drew Brees his first two preseason games let alone first few seasons.

9. THe coaching is years ahead of last years man, look at Blitz pickup, a problem last week and fixed this week that is a way you can tell there is progress. I saw more creativity in the Defense then last years blitz schemes. Harbaugh will be a great HC for us!!!!

you have to understand everyone hates the 49ers.. but owell.. we are finally back on the right track and when we win the west hopfully every one will say oh the west is the worst division.. but guess what we still won it! hopefully

61.7 QB rating for the game = "a very solid performance"?

It's only one good preseason, but it's been a while since I've seen our offense played with a crispness, and guys look like they know where exactly they are going on the field.

what do you expect in one half of play? I didn't say he had a "great performance." He was solid. A great performance would have capatalized on atleast one of those red zone trips. But to say he struggled was blasphemy

Well if you actually watched the game then yes, it was a very solid performance. If you go by stats alone....well, you know, it wasn't very good, obviously.

Nicely done with the "you know" and "obviously," Alex. Yeah, I didn't mind they pick too much when I heard the explanation. Harbaugh is teachiong Alex to use his eyes to hold the safeties where he wants them, and he didn't look at the receiver soon enough to see the DE dropping underneath. I am not mad, I am just happy that Alex is FINALLY being coached to not stare down his recievers, and to misdirect safeties. It's obviously not a done deal yet, but that stuff should have gotten started YEARS ago.

Out of 12 passes thrown, Smith had 8 catches with three dropped. Not to mention the 49ers decided not to show their redzone offense and focus on the running game in the redzone, therefore no real touchdown pass opportunities which brings the passer rating up

He also had two drops by recievers, and the pick is correctable mistake, but overall he looked solid playing QB.

The 49ers should have hired Mike McCarthy to be the head coach and all would have been okay in the coaching department. Instead we got Nolan, Singletary...defensive minded and no continuity in offensive coaching

They are trying to stir up a controversy, their was a headline that I read yesterday on NFL.com that read "Kaepernick leads 9ers on 2 scoring drives". I'll post the link if I can find it.

Agree
