2011: What are you most excited about?

With 2011 inching closer, we have several new changes to really look forward to. While I only expect a 6-10 or 5-11 season, it seems as though we are building towards the future.

I am looking forward to our new offense. It has been fun to watch Stanford games and wondering what Harbaugh was doing. There was always so much pre-snap action, it constantly kept us guessing. This differs completely from the "run up the middle" approach of the last two years.

^That. But I went with "Our new offense" because that includes basically 3 of the other choices with it, pretty much.

As is usually the case, I agree with my friend here.
waiting and watching to see if we LUCK out and win the sweepstake for ANDREW come draft day. this ought to be good
Seeing if our offense can come out of a huddle with time on the play clock so we don't have to burn a time out or get called for delay of game....

that sh!t was so annoying. always pissed me off that we always seem to burn T.O at the start of the game or start of the quarters on our 1st possessions
To see Crabtree, Davis, Edwards and Gore on the field at the same time

I can hear Pat Summerall in my head saying ..."SO MANY WEAPONS"

YES
Excited by two things the most.

Alex SMith.

The defense actually blitzing for once.
The A Smith choice because the team will only go as far as he can take it. But everything was a close second!
1. Watching a competent coach lead our team to victory more often than not for the first time in a decade.

2. NOT being the laughing stock of the league.

3. Aldon Smith.
excited to find out what we actually have, what we don't have in a post mike singletary era. There wasn't much development of talent last year and the niners thinking seems to be that they have more talent than they showed last season and that it just wasn't developed/utilized correctly.

I do agree they now have a coach who early on, has my faith in being a talent evaluator and a teacher/developer, not sure i agree with the gm's assesment on us not needing much. I thought there was talent to be had out there this fa period, some longer term solutions...

at this point of my faith in Harbaugh, it's exciting that I won't have to wonder as much about if so and so player is good or not. Like the fact that it's already been decided, Taylor Mays doesn't have it, we will find out shortly if crabtree has it and so on....At this point more then any other period the past few years, I atleast have that faith if a player doesn't make it, it was more of a 'it's not meant to be' type of thing as opposed to a 'if had been coached up' type of thing...

singletary gave good pep talks and ressurected vernon davis, beyond that, i didn't think he was qualified to do much else and subsequently, lots of things regressed. Looking forward to not having that sinking ship feeling where there are holes everywhere and its a mad scramble to cover them all up. I don't think we will be very good this season but I do think there will be more accountability, better teaching, better coaching. A better system will be put in place so that in the future when true talent is added, it will be properly nurtured and utilized. the organization just won't have all the overwhelming cracks it seemed to have had under Mike S.

looking forward to being proffessional, a tighter ship....
