Would if we signed Lawson, moved him to the otherside and got rid of PH?

I've been saying to keep Lawson and replace Haralson for a while now.

Keep Manny on the left and put Aldon on the right.

this:

ROLB: Aldon Smith/ Travis Laboy

LOLB: Many Lawson/ Ahmad Brooks

Parys is not at all overpaid and he is a better passrusher than Lawson. Who cares about how well our OLBs can cover.

That's debatable

Which part?

Parys is not the better passrusher.

So Manny Lawson is better?

all of it

Hes making 2 million that is not even sniffing over paying an OLB with starting experience. I don't see how Lawson is the better passrusher we have given him every opportunity to succeed and he had 2.5 sacks in 16 games last year. Hes never even reached 7 sacks in his career.

Yes, he puts far more pressure then Parys. Lawson chases QB's into Parys.

Good pass rushers dont finish seasons with under 3 sacks while starting 16 games. Good passrushers don't get taken off the field on passing downs

Good pass rushing DE's can sometimes struggle when moved to LBer in the 3-4 deffense.

Ok, except he's 240 pounds and has never been a good passrushing DE in the NFL. Good passrushers can also make that transition with 5 years experience to build off. The last time he was a good passrusher was in college when Mario Williams was triple teamed on the otherside every play.
