Yeah 8th most productive based on that meaningless stat. Guy can't rush the passer he doesn't supply any pressure. He can't get sacks like he was drafted for, highly over rated. That stat is meaningless man.
Been posted before, but it is a very intriguing thing to consider.

Gonna miss you if you go, Manny.

(and if you do leave, come to New Orleans or Detroit!)
Yet he doesn't get any sacks. There's no denying that he's good in run coverage, and decent in pass support. But he's not irreplaceable.
Sacks are wonderful and all, but getting QB pressures (or disruptions, as they are labeled here) is very important too.

Many people want to re-sign RayMac.... why? He had zero sacks last year. Oh yeah, but he did have an arse-load of QB pressures.
Who cares what he was drafted for.

The question is what does he bring to the team now?
And Haralson is tied with Clay Matthews? Something's wrong with their formula :)

It also may be skewed bc our OLB's only rush the QB on obvious (long) passing downs.

Search button isn't working, but I really think we need to sign this guy. We will never have two elite passrushers (Cant afford). Why not make Aldon the feature and Lawson the clean up? We've got more than enough cheddar available.

Lawson on running downs and Aldon on passing downs. I would love to have Lawson or Franklin back it's just that I think they have made up their minds about getting big money elsewhere. Not really any loyalty these days. Less and less players spend their entire career with one team.

He's a little underrated by this board and by the 49ers. We will miss him and his speed and length in coverage.

I agree. He's a good player with his speed and ranginess. Who cares if he doesn't get huge #'s of sacks. He's still good and worth keeping for the right price.
The organization's going to be in for a rude awakening when our run defense plummets.

Losing all three of Lawson, Franklin, and Spikes is going to hurt.
