I have a feeling Gibson will not be able to show enough in limited action to get the nod over Seely's ST stalwart. When it comes down to that last spot, I see them making the tough choice of cutting him and hoping to place him on the PS again.

Hell if they are looking for any athleticism then Norris is gone and should be he sucks.

I think if anyone that Seely wants, it will be Costonzo.
He was his Special Teams Ace in Cleveland.

I think Gibson gets a spot. We need OLB far worse than ILBs. We played with 3 for a while last year. Kristick/McKillop are backups and it's not like they won't play special teams. Hard to think Grant and Costanzo BOTH make it. I think they fight it out with Kristick for the backup job. Doubt we can keep these guys just for ST purposes when guys like McKillop/Kristick are probably better backups even if they are slightly worse at ST. I think we need 5/6 OLBs and 4 ILBS. P.S. I actually liked Grant when he was here and thought he did well for a 7th rounder. I was surprised he got cut.

This is very close I feel... Nice job, Clock... I think the Niners will add at least one more WR and if so, Ginn is in serious trouble. I'm thinking the OL and DL may have a change or two that is unexpected at this point. The team may also add a couple of players once other teams make their cuts. They have left themselves plenty of cap room to do this.
Finally, guys like Rachal and even Mays may need to show more during the exhibition games if they are going to make the final roster. I wouldn't assume they are sure things at this point.

I really hope Phillip Adams and Tarrel Brown make theyre way up into at least the nickel position, I think these guys could make some plays as in PICK 6. Ginn is a talented KR/PR- as a WR he is too inconsistent, and as of right now there are going to be alot less kick returns because of that new rule(does he have any trade value?-maybe for a new pair of cleats for Crabtree ...jk).I am excited about our Linebacking corps except for Haralson -if he has another year like 2010 I dont see him sticking around. Alex starts the opener-if he plays like he normally does-Kap week 2 putting Smith at his true position-#2 QB. With Crabtree out, another big target is necessary- if not Edwards or Floyd-why not T.O.?

Do you really need to ask why not TO? Also, no way our coaching staff is so stupid to put Colin in before he is ready.

Actually Owens makes a lot of sense if Edwards signs elsewhere.
1) He's much better than Floyd.
2) He has an outstanding work ethic that could potentially rub off on Crabtree.
3) He makes every one of his QB's look better than they are. (Garcia, Mcnabb, even Romo to an extent)
4) Has been well behaved since his Dallas years.
5) He's going to be a steal salary wise in regards to his talent. (Like 1.5M for 1 yr)
6) He would be returning home playing where he should have never left.

Yeah I don't think much of Evans but I haven't payed attention to any additional line depth at End we have.
