It's funny people on the webzone mock the fans that went to that game and chanted for David Carr. I wasn't at that game, but I would have been chanting the same thing. I am so tired of Alex Smith and all of his excuses for never ever being great.
I just want to move on.

All that being said, he's been doing what a veteran needs to do his offseason. I'm not going to be a negative person, and just hope for the best, pray that some miracle happens and he becomes good. But I have done this before.

In Harbaugh I trust...
I think Brett Favre might come out of retirement and sign...

Well, that's... an interesting choice I guess.

And before we start arguing about it, let's agree to disagree.

How anybody votes for someone other then Alex Smith amazes me.

agreeed there in denial

they can say he wont be the starter from week 5 or something like that and thats ok but any1 who doesn't say alex in week 1 well i can honestly say that there opinions no longer matter to me at least because they dont really know or follow the niners or are just extremely slow and blinded

You never know what can happen dude. I'm sure A.Smith will be starting week one but what id he gets hurt like he usually does?

Also what if Kaep comes in and lights it up?

What if we sign a F/A veteran QB with actual success?

We had JT O'Sullivan starting for us one season. No one saw that coming.

Also, no one and their mama though A. Smith would be back.

I'm just saying its not totally unheard of and anything can happen. There is a lot of offseason and pre-season left. So now my opinion doesn't matter because i can forsee about three scenarios where ASmith is not starting?
