What data helps you to draw that conclusion?

Great article on Roman in the SR PD. Link on home page. Definately a hardworking and sincere football guy. He almost runs from publicity, which is one reason Harbaugh would want him. The other is that he is probably the only guy who might outwork Harbaugh.
In an earlier interview he mentioned how important it is to modify the playbook to fit offensive players. I'm sure all teams do that to some extent but many OCs fall in love with their ideas whether the players can carry them out or not.
Raye seemed somewhat detached (asleep?) and may have put less effort into modifying his plays. This is conjecture on my part, but seeing the difference in playcalling last year versus his KC teams, either Singletary messed it up or Raye is past his prime (or both).

I'd say the fact that Roman isn't 129-years-old.
