Crabtree has proven he's capable of working out on his own, considering he was immediately effective his rookie year after missing minicamp, training camp, preseason, and the first five games of the season

This.

Now all you haters have nothing. He showed up when the majority of vets showed up.

Sweet he showed up when there was an organized offensive practice where every offensive player was contacted and asked to show up.

God forbid we as fans want him to show up to anything that isn't mandatory or an activity where the entire offense is suppose to be there. Lol at the haters remark, no one "hates" Crabs and wants him gone from the team, fans just like players who act a little more happy to be there. Has there been any Crabtree tweets saying something like "cant wait to hit the field and meet up with my teamates after the long layoff" ? Im not a twitter person so I don't know, but from looking at all the tweets other members have posted I haven't seen it yet.

Some athletes are not fan darlings. Its something you just have to accept if you want enjoy sports. There have been plenty of great athletes who don't put on for the media or the fans, and even don't get along with teammates. Not showing up to a few informal throwing session is only news because there is nothing else to talk about. He's shown up to every required workout since he's been under contract. Who cares if he's not spewing pro niner one liners on twitter

p.s: there are plenty of Crabtree haters on this board.

great....

u know what's gonna happen now. Smith is gonna under throw him. Crabs is gonna have to reach back to catch the fluttering duck of a pass and tear his MCL.

Dont you ever get tired of crapping on Smith. Without him this get together wouldnt of even happened.

Based on the photo I guess it's safe to assume the press is not welcome? Good for the team, bad for us news starved fans.

What's the over/under on Anothy Davis showing up 15 pounds heavier than the end of the year?

Oh so thats how you enjoy sports... thanks for the clarification.

Come back to me when you've actually seen all his games in college and how he acted at texas tech and compare that to the past couple years, it's night and day. I don't expect you to actually get any of this as you probably dont live in Big 12, now Big 10 country.

I like Crabtree and want him to be a probowler so I can start calling Crabs 'the deadliest catch' to my buddies.
