IMO we are not as bad as people say talent wise.
But still a bit away, like no elite QB, need another OG and a long term C. Then on D, Pass Rusher and CB.
My players who I believe are top 5-10 among there position.

3-4 DE Justin Smith
TE Vernon Davis
then of course we got 3 players last yr who had 1st rd talents, Davis, Iupati and Bowman, which Iupati was the best and I believe will succeed the most.

Lee would be on my list, added to those you have already listed. Nedney was but may be past his prime now. The 9ers have had very consistent kicking. I thought Staley would be but injuries have really hurt the past two years. Other than Lee though, I think you've got it covered.

thats 5 on one team. I would have to say we are in the top 10 in the league easy. Not many teams have that much talent. We just need an above avg qb and pass rusher and we are set

I agree with that list. And you are right, we do have talent, but its not at the right positions. All our studs play minimum impact positions. We need a OLB pass rusher, a QB, a Tackle, and a DB (S or CB) and we can dominate...
I hope we have a good draft.

We will have to get a QB and OLB in the draft or trade. There isn't really any other option except for journeymen.
As for CB, if we can't land Patrick Peterson, we should aim for one in FA.
We can't spend another high pick on a OL. We have to go with what we have and maybe add depth from FA. We can sneak a sleeper in late maybe.
