Agreed with this. Singletary's first coaching hire and the only decent name he could attract was Linehan who turned him down on the 2nd interview.....for the Lions.

Huge "WTF" moment there. Not to mention, that it was actually due to the revitalization on offense that he was even offered the permanent job.

Joe Thomas dismantling the team and trading for nothing (first rounder for OJ) was more dramatic but with fewer incidents. Of course he made it easy to like Bill Walsh two years later.

Allright my fellow fans lets get down brass tacks! It all starts with Mr D and his sister Mrs york. Mr D Sr LOVED his son, sister was left out! She waits and waits to show daddy he is wrong. Quality over quantity dude. Although Sing's 49ers had a ton of little problems, none of them gripped the entire nation the way the JOE MONTANA - STEVE YOUNG QB controversy did. That was some serious s**t right there.

The V.Davis drama was well deserved,he was quickly becoming T.O part 2
Vernon is a much better person thanks to Sing
The Singletary drama overall was ridiculous-just a horrible HC,but as a person he's a good man and of course a HOF'er
