A lot of people forget how quick Montana was on those bird legs of his. We had back to back HOF quarterbacks. We were blessed, makes me happy to be 50 years old and able to see back to back 2-14 seasons evolve into an amazing run that lasted almost two decades. With a salary cap and the York era such a dynasty won't happen again.

Thanks for that magnificent video of the 49er Glory Days! Even the 49ers Uniforms, and End Zone Logo were better back then. Hopefully Harbaugh will bring those days back to the 9ers.

You have to be. I think the current team is a franchise QB away and a couple pieces away from being great.

When you look at the 2 decades of dominance...we were extremely spoiled... Perhaps this is why we've had so much heartbreak the last few years. I think Harbaugh is the right direction...just need a QB. Look at the beautiful QB'ing in that video...brought a tear to my eye.

We were extremely fortunate to have back to back HOF QB's.

aint that the truth, green bay is equally fortunate, look at buffalo, miami, denver and so on, its real tough to follow a HOF qb with a solid qb let alone a HOF'er
