Kealoha Pilares!

Lol we get it dude, you like the guy.

I must convince the world!

But if you weren't from Hawaii would you still have the same feelings about the guy? I agree he's good, but do you really think he's draftable? I mean Kyle Williams ran a 4.34 40 time. Thats....tough to beat.
If I weren't from Hawaii I would not know who he is. Not a huge CF fan exept University of Hawai'i football. I was saying the same things about Devon Bess when he left and now he is arguably the best slot WR in the NFL. Just have a good feeling about this guy, and speed is over rated at the WR position.

I am from from Hawaii Five-0, Salas has a better chance of making it. Honestly speaking, while rooting Pilares, he has to first overcome injury issues. Bess is a good wr, but to say that he is the best is overstating. Hawaii throws the ball so much that he gets lots of chances. The problem for run and shoot and spread wr is can they take advantage of the fewer chanes given in the NFL, can they make it happpen on their own? With the run and shoot they spread you out and if you don't have the athletes to cover them someone will get open because of the scheme, in the pro set you have to rely more on ability.

If you use stanford's O as a comparisson, JH is looking for Hines Ward type WR to start at least on one end.

I like Miami's WR Leonard Hankerson in the draft.

He very well may be a late first, early second now though.

Some mocks had Hankerson in the first round before the combine...toward the bottom.
Yes he should be
There are certainly no guarantees with this guy, but lets hope.

He's on the team, so I hope he can catch fire this year, but so far he hasn't shown to be very reliable...health-wise.

You make that judgement call after just one season?

No judgement, just an observation. I hope he does well, but wasn't he also injured in college? He is a smallish receiver with a slight frame.

People tend to put too much stock in players who haven't played, rather than wating unitl they prove their ability. I try not to assume a player is the answer until they become the answer as Gore did coming out of college with an injury.

With the new staff, all players will be exposed. Good or bad. Morgan will ride the pine im sure

Morgan does a lot of things well. Just because he isn't a burner doesn't mean he will be riding the pine. He is, by far, the best blocking WR on the team.

You have no clue on how to evaluate talent.
LOL at this thread... Williams is not close to the type of player you want in the slot. In the slot you want a guy who is physical, can break tackles, and make grabs in traffic over the middle. Dependable, the key word.

Williams is a return specialist that offers nothing other than his straight line speed. He doesn't go over the middle, he sure as hell doesn't break tackles, and his routes reek of garbage..

Then again, this is the webzone.

No rainman....Quite the contrary...However, as much as we laugh at his "physical" speeches... The prototype slot guy is the guy who makes grabs in traffic over the middle, has solid hands and can break tackles...None of which Williams does well.

You're a typical internet fan that is in love with speed. Darrius HeyWard-Bey has speed. That doesn't make him a good receiver.

The fact that you think a return specialist that's as durable as a toothpick should get reps over Morgan...just highlight the fact that you have no clue on how offenses are run.
