Apparently there are a lot of emotions that need to be vented about the subject.

You've certainly had your share of venting time. If this is the way the Sjceruti chooses to vent theirs, I would expect that you might be able to empathize.

This method is creative and shows courage. It's certainly a large step up from:

"Alex Smith sucks!"

"No, Alex Smith is good!"

"No, you suck!"

"No, you suck!"

So, let's just not go there, ok? Watch the video if you want and if you aren't interested in another Alex Smith thread... ignore it. Just please be respectful.

I really like the idea/concept of this video, but I would like to see you put more into it. Things such as coaching changes, injuries, more of his good plays and bad plays. I don't know, it's attention grabbing but needs more substance to it, if that makes any sense. Just show us why he's here.

Really good job though, just giving my 2 cents. Theres just so much more to it than what was shown in this video. I know it probably would take a lot of time, but I think you could make a great all around video if you had that time.

I agree, I really wanted to put a lot more into the video. The problem was finding video. I just don't have a lot. I really wanted to put some draft day footage into it but I couldnt find any. The whole Alex Smith story is much larger than this video but it was just a little project I did in a few hours.

But he does suck.
I find it pretty pathetic how people 'feel sorry' for Alex. Lmao. The dude made 40 million dollars in his time here. So what if he got injured? Thats a part of the game.

We feel sorry for him due to the mess of an organization that he was drafted into. The whole situation was mismanaged. That's what people are referring to.

I still think that's a good reason to feel bad for him. Dude got paid. And it's not like he did anything to help the situation. Sure, the organization was pretty inept, but it's not like he was this super QB who was just being held back all these years by the 49ers. You gotta admit, he sucked too.

I dont give a f**k he made $40 Mill in his time here. Yeah it sucks we payed him that much but the guy wants to be good but cant succeed because of the whole psychological mess with his head between the fans and systems he was forced to change. Montana could be switched in this role vice versa and we could have been chanting off with his head. I mean yes its time for change but if anyone was mature here (which we lack of out of alot of people that post on this forum) they would take the time and sit back and think about if they were the person in their shoes. This franchise is so damn f**ked up and mismanaged cant no QB come here and succeed. Hopefully all is changed now with Jim and Trent running the show. I find it pathetic how people dont look at that before they look at Alex

Lmao at the creepy music.

It's from The Social Network and is composed by Trent Reznor.
To me it gives the feeling of solidarity.

It's great climactic music, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross did so good in The Social Network, i'll be unhappy if they don't take home the oscar for Best Score. I thought you used great clips, interviews, and of course the music. Great video, kind of emotional to watch.

WTF did I say it was not Smith's fault? Please point that out. I was just quoting your comment "I find it pretty pathetic how people 'feel sorry' for Alex. Lmao. The dude made 40 million dollars in his time here. So what if he got injured? Thats a part of the game." I do put blame on his play as far as accuracy and decision making. If you read my first post in the thread I have stated I have blamed him for games we lost.

Don't turn this into all the other alex smith threads. It's a thread about the video, not more of this elementary argument.

You got it.
I get it...part the organization's fault and part his. Who knows what could have been. But, with a new coaching staff coming in, the niners might be forced to give him another chance (if they somehow can talk him into coming back). There just aren't any other options at the qb position available. If he does come back, the webzone would go absolutely nuts!
I'm locking this because posters cannot seem to understand that this thread IS NOT an invitation to start another A. Smith debate. Feel free to watch the video (and thanks to the OP for putting the time and effort in), but this one is on lock.
