It was great this morning to hear Montana and how he talked about how rice always changed his route but always hit him in stride. Even though it was a designed curl he would turn it into a slant or post depending on the defense even though Montana never knew about it.

Here I'am wondering all these years why Alex Smith never succeeded and why people always defended him that the WR ran the wrong route. I came to a conclusion after hearing Montana that you have to be a smart QB and obviously Alex was incompetent at the position
