Sounds like the Alex supporters are on life support systems, trying to keep it going until they finally pull the plug. Let them rant and rave because ultimately, it's Jim Harbaughs decision whether he stays or goes.

Those that say that Alex will NOT want to come back to the 49er's are wrong, because if Harbaugh decides to keep him (god forbid), he would be foolish to decline.

Who better to teach him about being a very good QB than Jim Harbaugh.

Let's just say that the odds of Harbaugh keeping him is NOT in his favor.

I had hoped that all the Alex talk would die after the season. Apparently not. Whether the odds are in his favor or not, the guy is like a cockroach, can't get rid of him. @#*(!!!
McNabb is old and done. its a wrap for him. it was a mistake for the Redskins to trade for him last year, and itll be a mistake by any team who signs him this year as anything but a backup.

Philly was laughing it up all season when the Shanahan/McNabb drama was going on, and he was getting benched. hes always been overrated, and now thats hes old and overrated? forget it. even Alex Smith is a better option right now.

sooo i'll take Kolb if the price is right. If not, then my second choice would be Orton.

Philly is asking for 2 first rounders for Kolb,, not worth it

But I would give them 2 first graders for Kolb.

You guys do know Alex outplayed McNabb this past season don't you?

Hell of a point MAN! McNabb just plain sucked this year, while Alex was below average. I mean if you take a look at the BIG PICTURE, you would obviously take Alex over McNabb. Alex has so many pro bowls, and SBs/playoff appearances, he's obviously in the same category as McNabb...This is a "what have you done for me lately league", and you would be a plain idiot to not take somebody who's been below average his whole career, than to take a guy that had an off year.

lol, all trolling as side, with that kind of mindset, why don't we just go after Brett Favre, or Derek Anderson, or Kerry Collins?

Once again, you have outdone yourself with another brilliant post.

true,, hahaha

McNabb is on the decline. When is the last time you remeber him finishing an entire year? I don't live in the past.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of the latest version of NcNabb.
Kolb is going to be our QB next year....if not maybe orton. We need someone accurate and who can get the ball out fast so this WCO can work.

People are thinking of 5 - 8 years ago when they think of a "good McNabb." My guess is they haven't even watched him the last few years. Honesly Alex is clearly better in 2010.

5-8 yrs ago? in 09 he had a 92 QB rating. I'd have to see Mcnabb have another poor year before I say he's done.

One bad season is just one bad season for now.
