lol at him taking a shot at the print media. I agree with him though. They suck and don't really know whats going on.

Trent is one of the best, most articulate analysts on TV. Baalke's not a rah rah kind of guy...but as Trent says, he's a forward thinker, a must for a GM. Given he hired Harbaugh within days of his promotion, I think that says a lot about him. Colin Cowherd wouldn't take Dilfer at his word about hiring an exceptional GM if it wasn't true. I think Niner fans need to get over the fact he's an internal hire...he's highly qualified, and so far, has been aces as far as I'm concerned.

Some of you forgot what crow tastes like huh? Wait until the 2011 draft? Really? I said the 2010 offseason was one the 49ers best off-seasons in a while. Face it; Dilfer was right. Give credit where it's due.
That draft was overrated.
We got Iupati, reached for Davis and traded a 4th round pick to move up a few slots, and none of the other picks cracked the starting lineup....A lineup when you look at it from top to bottom, isn't very good.
There are some that are afraid to put a player out on the field and let them sink or swim. Some of the others had injury problems. Beides you can't judge a draft on merely the first year alone. It take three years to really known what you have. Look at 49ers that we drafted in the past, after they left us they became more productive. davis is only going to be what 21 maybe 22-which is when they are drafted if they graduate.
Dixon-they wanted to change his style of running because of his size. sing wanted him to be a smash mouth, I thought it was mistake to change him, you are taking away his edge.
Walsh was great because he made use of your talent and coached you to be better. They didn't try to change your stule unless your technique was bad needed changing.

1. he got harbaugh
2. he had a good first draft
3. he sounds like super dave osbourne

We will see. Baalke I don't like. His first draft wasn't good. Harbaugh is the best HC we could land. So 1 down and 1 up if you ask me.

Controversy brings listeners/viewers and that brings ad $$$$. Some of the stuff I hear on KNBR (the 49er's flagship station) is just laughable. The guys in the early morning just try to keep the coffee hot. Gary Radnich has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to pro football. Fitz and Brooks are the best but not always in very good depth. Ralph is worse than Radnich - all his does is try to show off his vocabulary and what a snob he is. Tom is not bad but he has nothing close to the insight in football that he has in basketball. Damon Bruce is an embarrassment - he doesn't even appear to be trying to be knowledgeable much of the time.
Trent is right on the money in regards to Tim Kawakami, Ann Killion and Lowell Cohn. They really don't know s**t about football or who's who in the NFL.
I'm out...
